New Flag for the Elburn Chamber

At our February 2nd meeting at the American Legion, Harley Veldhuizen, with Blackberry Township, gifted Penny Bergstrom, President of the Elburn Chamber, with our own American flag for Chamber meetings.

 

 

Health and Wellness Fair Booth Registration Open

The Elburn Chamber Health and Wellness Fair has been scheduled for September 17th 2022.

We are looking for all types of businesses that can help people achieve a healthy lifestyle!

Examples: Goat Yoga, Gym Memberships, Finance, Insurance- health and life, Pet Adoption, Therapeutic Riding and more

Certificate of Insurance

IMPORTANT: Each participant must have a Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing the Elburn Lions Club on file with the Elburn Chamber of Commerce. COI’s may be emailed to the chamber office at info@elburn.com. Payment can be made online or by check. Checks should be payable to the Elburn Chamber of Commerce and can be mailed to the chamber office at 100 S. Main Street, Unit 1S Elburn, IL 60119.

 Obscurity Brewing and Craft Mead received the 2021 Chamber Business of the Year Award.

Elburn Chamber Awards Banquet

Our March Member Meeting and 2021 Awards Banquet was held at The Old Elburn Hall on March 3rd from Noon to 2pm.  The banquet featured a menu of appetizers, prime rib, an array of sides, and dessert.  Awards were presented to the 2021 Chamber Business of the Year and the 2021 Chamber Member of the Year.  In addition, recognition was given to 2021 Board Members and Committee Chairs.

Thank you to all who attended.  And a special thank you to  The Old Elburn Hall for hosting and catering this wonderful event!

Congrats to Obscurity Brewing and Craft Mead on being awarded the Chamber Business of the Year and  David Wennemar on being awarded the Chamber Member of the Year!

As Elburn has continued to see expansive growth over the last several years, the following outline has been created to demonstrate how we will work with you to create the perfect event.

Our June 3rd Member Meeting Speaker will be our very own VP of Marketing Board Member for 2020-2022, David Wennemar! David will be discussing branding and marketing design that fits your goals. Let David be your design guide with over 20 years of experience designing the right fit for clients. His goal is a return on your investment through adding value to clarify and grow your business branding and marketing. This talk relates to all businesses because they all need a strong brand and strong marketing to thrive.

David generously donates his design talent to the Chamber as a Board Member. Let’s thank him for all the great work he has done to bring the design of the Chamber up through consistent messaging design on our website, social media, event materials, signage, email newsletters, and overall branding.

Annual Chamber Scholarship

Other KHS Financial Aid & Scholarships

Due by April 23rd!

This scholarship has been established by the Elburn Chamber of Commerce to be awarded to high school seniors who live in the Kaneland School District and plan to attend either a four-year or community college. We will award a $1,000 Scholarship as well as a $500 Pat Hill Memorial Scholarship.

  • All majors are welcome to apply.
  • Seniors who do not attend Kaneland High School but are residents of the school district may also apply.
  • This scholarship is not renewable.
  • Applicants must use their scholarship award by the Fall Semester of 2021 or it will be forfeited.
  • The scholarship will be sent directly to the school identified on page 2 of this application and not directly to the recipient.
  • The criteria for this scholarship are academic excellence, extracurricular activities, written communication skills, and community service.
  • The deadline for application is the end of the school day on Friday, April 23, 2021.

Applications may be submitted to any one of the following:
